A Message from Our Founders
We started Lauda Financial because we kept seeing the same problem from different angles: smart people making suboptimal financial decisions — not for lack of effort, but because they had no clear way to understand the landscape of what was available to them, what applied to their situation, and how to act on it.
The benefits landscape is a maze. Tax-advantaged accounts come with rules that change yearly. Health plan decisions have downstream financial consequences that most people discover too late. And the tools that exist to help are, more often than not, built for the institutions — not the people they serve.
We think the opportunity is simple to state and hard to execute: build products that understand the full picture of someone’s financial and health spending life — including the financial limitations, the industry-specific language, and the provider landscape that makes navigating and optimizing these decisions so difficult — and then make the right next step obvious. Not with more dashboards. Not with more complexity. With less.
To do that well, we believe we need to own most of what we build — our products, our infrastructure, our support systems. We will not let a vendor limitation or a legacy dependency dictate what we can offer you. And we use everything we build ourselves, so we know firsthand when something is not good enough.
We are a small team building with a long time horizon. We will share more as we go.
